About us
Founded in 2019 in Fridley, Minnesota, Forgotten Star Brewing was forged from a building rich with history and defined by Excellence and Efficiency. Today, we incorporate these values into every aspect of our brewery, from our brewing process and taproom space, to our people, atmosphere and beer!
From 1929 to 1941, the Northern Pump Company occupied our facility as a manufacturer of water pumps. Within months of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Northern Pump Company shifted its operations to naval production for the war effort.
The facility quickly became one of the most efficient and excellent WWII manufacturers, earning a military award for "Excellence in Production", which is represented by the "E" on the north stack! If a facility maintained excellence in production for six months, an accompanying star would be awarded alongside the "E". Six stars accompanied with an E, means our facility was awarded seven times throughout WWII for its excellence in production!
Even more amazing, out of the 86,000 WWII manufacturing facilities, less than 4,300 received the "E", and only eight facilities received six or more stars! Today, Forgotten Star Brewing stands in one of the only two out of the eight WWII manufacturing facilities still standing!

A: Yes we are. We even have activities for kids from board games to coloring sheets. We love when families come in to spend time together in our taproom!
A: Yes we are! Well behaved dogs are welcome to join us in our taproom. Please see our dog policy for more details.
A: Yes we do. Everything from water, coffee, tea, craft soda, CBD water and more! We try to offer something for everybody.
A: In May 2024, we partnered with Fit Foodie Finds to open our resident food truck, Hodgepodge. Hodgepodge is open six days a week starting at 11AM. Every Wednesday, Hodgepodge is closed and we welcome a rotating food truck in order to still provide variety. Hodgepodge has biweekly menu updates and weekly specials for some of the best brewery food in the Twin Cities!
A: Yes you can. While we have food every day starting at 11AM, we are also okay if you want to bring in your own food or have food delivered here!
A: Yes, we have a variety of board and card games for the perfect game night. We also offer coloring sheets and books!
A: If you are a group of less than 25 guests, we do not take reservations. For groups of more than 25 guests, please visit our reservations page. Between our taproom and our connected private event center, we look forward to hosting your group!
A: Yes, we offer pull tabs through the Fridley Lions on select days and times: Mon-Fri: 4PM-Close, Sat: 11AM-11PM, Sun: 11:30AM-6:30PM. Cash bingo is also available through the Fridley Lions every Friday from 5:30-7:30PM and every Sunday from 3-5PM
